Position Overview
Valitana is looking to hire an Associate Product Manager on our Analytics team that will serve as a vital link between our clients and developers. This role focuses on optimizing new features, building out specifications, and translating business needs into actionable requirements to ensure that product features are delivered on time and meet our clients’ expectations.
Responsibilities
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, healthcare with medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and PTO.
Employees in this role will work in the office Mondays through Wednesdays with the flexibility to work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.

This role focuses on optimizing new features, building out specifications, and translating business needs into actionable requirements to ensure that product features are delivered on time and meet our clients’ expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy for structured finance products and establish a clear roadmap based on ongoing customer research.
- Collaborate across multiple stakeholder teams (Development, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success) to establish, manage and deliver a product roadmap.
- Develop business and functional specification documents for product enhancements.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain user stories and backlog for products. Be the point of engagement for the development team as well as our customers.
- Work closely with Product Managers across other lines-of-business to ensure we implement projects and strategic initiatives with a high degree of collaboration, and re-use of common capabilities across the product portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferable) in business, management, finance, engineering, or information systems.
- Knowledge in CLO, CMBS, or ABS is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management successfully managing SaaS, data, and analytics products.
- Ability to write queries in SQL or similar languages is a plus.
- Direct experience with agile development methodologies, development and execution of product plans.
- CLO data, software, or consulting experience within the B2B landscape is helpful.
- Strong stakeholder management and effective communication (written & oral) skills.
